I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition and an Adjunct Professor at the School of Business Administration, UNIST.
My research focuses on the drivers of firm innovation strategy and entrepreneurship. In particular, I study how technological change and innovation policy—including labor market regulations, intellectual property institutions, and public support for entrepreneurship—shape firms’ organizational dynamics, international expansion, and venture growth.
More recently, I have been working on how AI and automation are reshaping labor markets and entrepreneurship, from why workers move into self-employment to how generative AI affects new venture performance, hiring, and founding team composition. You can find more details in the research section and on my CV.
